Take a whisk from your kitchen, place pom poms or cotton balls inside and have your child remove the items with their finger. For older children you can ask them to guess how many items they predict are in the whisk before hand, followed by counting each object. You can further enhance the process by having them sort by color and size. Lastly you can have them graph their findings on a piece of paper.
